Hassan Joho Responds To Claims On His Campaign Car Being Involved In Drug Traficking

Mombasa governor Ali hassan Joho’s campaign team has spoken out concerning their association to the branded vehicle that was impounded by the police on drug traficking charges.
One of the vehicles which are believed to have been involved in drug trafficking in Nyali is said to be Joho’s.

However, Hassan Joho’s campaign manager John Tumbo, has come out to say that the car doesn’t belong to them in any way and they had no ties whatsoever to the car.

He went on to add that one of Joho’s fan could have branded the car to look like the cars being used in his campaign trail but as far as they concerned the Toyota Crown branded with photos of the Mombasa governor does not appear in their records and they know nothing about it either! Therefore they shouldn’t be held accountable for anything.

The KCH 883H was seized on monday following a swoop by police officers where seven suspected drug traffickers were arrested with a half kilo of heroin and Ksh. 4.5 million.
