Actress Nice Githinji lost her brother George Githinji on
Tuesday, April 11, after a long battle with illness.
Speaking to Mpasho on the phone, the thespian said her
brother sustained a serious injury on his head almost six years ago but his
family didn’t think that it would result in death.
“YOU KNOW HOW PEOPLE GET SICK AND
THINGS JUST HAPPEN. SO GEORGE WAS RUSHED TO HOSPITAL AND HE DIED AFTER TWO
WEEKS,” NICE SAID.
George was laid to rest yesterday, Thursday,
April 20 in Kirinyaga but what shocked us was that Nice was busy ‘celebrating’
on a day when she’s expected to be grieving.
She put up a post on her Facebook page
wishing her Facebook friends a “Happy 420” and this caught many of them
by surprise.
Later on, she made a
joke about going to the countryside in rugged clothes.
